The Mayoress’ Charity Concert, proudly sponsored by Thomas Bros, is returning to entertain the Wagga Wagga community after more than a decade’s absence.

“A spoof of the UK’s annual live show, The Royal Variety Performance; our very own The Rural Command Performance variety concert, will showcase the best Wagga Wagga performers from both the past and present,” says Wagga Wagga City Council Mayor, Councillor Greg Conkey OAM.

Directed by Peter Cox with Musical Direction by David Wall, the Wagga Wagga based performers have teamed up with ex-Wagga Wagga professionals working in Melbourne and Sydney to bring a wonderful variety showcase together.

“The Performance will showcase more than 30 performers who will be supported by renowned band, The Groove Factorie and feature the choreography of Katherine Fisher.”

“While the amazingly talented Peter J. Casey takes the reins as the Master of Ceremonies, and that’s sure to guarantee a truly memorable gala event.”

“All proceeds from two performances of the Mayoress’ Charity Concert will go towards supporting proven youth development programs run through the Wagga Wagga PCYC.”

The Mayoress’ Charity Concert, The Rural Command Performance, is on Saturday, 28 July 28 at 2pm and 7.30pm at the Civic Theatre Wagga Wagga.
