Residents get behind Plastic Free July

Plastic Free July has come to an end, with four booked-out workshops held over each weekend across the month.

Participants learned everything from how to pamper themselves with what’s in their pantry to making soap and beeswax wraps.

Plastic Free July is all about assessing how much plastic we use in our everyday lives and finding alternatives, with the top four items being plastic bags, bottles, straws and coffee cups.

The workshops were funded by Council and Inspire NSW, the state arm of Inspiring Australia.
