Call for information following dog attack

Wagga Wagga City Council is calling on the public for information following a dog attack yesterday morning.

At 6.30am yesterday, a Kooringal Road resident awoke to find two dogs attacking a horse on their property.

The horse died as a result of the injuries.

The animals were last seen exiting the area through a water retention basin between Simkin Crescent and Fay Avenue. The dogs are described as being tan in colour and medium to large in size.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Council’s animal management team on 1300 292 442 or NSW Police on 6922 2599.
