Organise childcare before school goes back - 20 January 2015

With the new school year just days away, Wagga Wagga Regional Family Day Care (WWRFDC) has positions available for parents and guardians in need of a flexible care option.

WWRFDC provides for all types of care requirements, including before and after school care, weekends, overnight and in some cases 24-hour care.

There are currently more than 50 educators, who provided education and care to over 300 children each week.

“Wagga Wagga Regional Family Day Care is a network of highly skilled early childhood educators who provide care for other people’s children in their own homes,” Family Day Care Service Manager Kym Stewart said.

“Children are nurtured in a small group setting and through the educator’s individualised programming, are encouraged to further develop their skills and knowledge.”

Educators have been carefully selected and supervised, and operate under the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

Educators and Coordination Units are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standard to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
