Wagga Wagga City Council invites community organisations, groups and individuals in the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area to make applications for Council’s Annual Grants Program.
The grants program provides an annual funding opportunity for the Wagga Wagga Local Government area and aims to support local community-based groups.
Available grants
There are a range of categories that organisations, groups and individuals can apply under, including:
- Community Health and Wellbeing
- Connected Rural and Urban Communities
- Arts & Culture
- Local Heritage
- Events
- Sustainable Environments
Through its grants program, Council supports a wide range of services and activities that build community capacity, foster social networks and information exchange, facilitate cooperation and build on existing community strengths.
Funding priorities for the Annual Grants Program are aligned with the Community Strategic Plan, Ruby & Oliver. Our Future. Our Community.
This document was prepared with extensive community consultation to identify the long term vision for the City of Wagga Wagga.
Applications open on Monday 16 March 2015 and close at 11.59pm on Sunday 31 May 2015.
Application forms and grants guidelines will be available at upcoming information/ grant writing workshops, at Wagga Wagga City Council customer service and online at www.wagga.nsw.gov.au/grants.
