Detours to be in place on Docker Street from Thursday 19 March - 16 March 2015

Northbound lanes of Docker Street between Edward Street (Sturt Highway) to Darlow Street will be closed from Thursday 19 March to Saturday 21 March for road works.

The road will be closed to all traffic from 8am to 4pm each day as crews repair the road following a burst water main.

These road works will include the removal of the temporary emulsion seal that was installed as part of the earlier emergency road repair works, and stabilisation of the pavement followed by the installation of a new wearing surface.

Detours will be via Edward Street (Sturt Highway) and will be signposted.

“Please take care while travelling in the area while the works take place,” Wagga Wagga City Council Director Infrastructure Services Heinz Kausche said.

“Residents should expect delays and make alternate travel plans where possible.”
