Harris Park Public Art statement - 4 May 2015
Wagga Wagga City Council, in consultation with the Public Art Advisory Panel and the sporting stakeholders of Harris Park, has made the decision to reinstate the amenity block at Harris Park to its original condition.
“The art work created by eleven 10-15 year olds as part of Youth Week 2015 will be documented before the amenity block is restored to its original condition,” Manager Community Services Madeleine Scully said.
“All youth involved in the project, sporting stakeholders and artists have been informed of the decision.”
The Youth Week activity at Harris Park formed part of the Placeshaping Strategy as part of Council’s adopted Public Art Plan.
