Community to benefit from service review

General Manager Alan Eldridge has commissioned an in-depth service review of Council’s Infrastructure Services directorate.

Industry experts Freestyle Project Solutions will undertake the service review, with the key personnel involved having knowledge of the local area and experience with local government and major projects.

With Infrastructure Services in a state of transition following Director Heinz Kausche’s resignation, Mr Eldridge said now was the perfect time for the service review.

“As an organisation, we have a responsibility to our community to look at the way we do business and ensure we are operating efficiently.

“The outcomes of this review could mean not only significant savings for ratepayers, but improvements to service delivery.”

Mr Eldridge described the service review an investment that will be returned through the potential efficiencies the review will deliver.

The service review will begin on 30 November.
