Statement from the General Manager re: Glenfield Road Animal Shelter

The City of Wagga Wagga has today engaged the services of an expert veterinary specialist to conduct a comprehensive review of the facility and procedures at the Glenfield Road Animal Shelter.

This is one on the key commitments made by myself as outlined in my open letter to the general public confirming my commitment to compliance and the ongoing welfare of animals at the shelter.

Identifying ongoing opportunities for best practice is a priority for Council.
