Winter’s greenest thumbs to be recognised

Tidy Town Sustainable Community Committee will announce its Winter Street of the Season and Garden of the Season for 2016 at a special presentation tomorrow.

Residents of Protea Place, Brunslea Park have been honoured with the title of Street of the Season and a resident of Sackville Drive, Forest Hill has been awarded Garden of the Season.

The presentation will also include the announcement of Street of the Year and will take place at the Civic Centre.

The Street of the Season and Garden of the Season awards provide important recognition to the residents of Wagga Wagga that take pride in the appearance of the city, local streets and suburbs.

The Tidy Towns Committee is always seeking new members to join in the spirit of the Keep NSW Beautiful campaign and become involved in their community.
