Docker/Gurwood streets road closure - emergency sewer repairs

A section of Docker and Gurwood streets is closed to southbound traffic for emergency sewer repair works.

Council staff discovered a fracture in a sewer pumping main underneath Docker Street about 12.30pm.

The road, between Beckwith and Albury streets, will be closed until late afternoon, possibly into the evening, for Council crews to investigate and carry out any subsequent repairs.

Motorists are asked to detour around the site. Southbound motorists should detour down Beckwith Street and into The Esplanade.

No right turn will be permitted from McKinnon Street.
