Morrow Street closure for sinkhole repair works

A section of Morrow Street will be closed tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday for Council staff to carry out repair works on a sinkhole.

The sinkhole has formed in the road at the western end of Morrow Street, between Ivan Jack Drive and Peter Street.

The road is expected to be closed both days with detours in place for motorists.

Further investigations and rehabilitation work will be carried out on the site for another four days after the initial excavation and investigation works. The road will be subject to part road closure during this time.
