Statement regarding the General Manager

Council has resolved to terminate immediately the General Manager’s contract of employment at an Extraordinary Meeting held tonight.

Mr Alan Eldridge’s contract was terminated in accordance with the recommendation of a confidential legal report to Councillors.

No further details of the termination will be made available.

Mr Robert Knight will continue in the role of General Manager until the recruitment for the position is finalised.
