Council is hosting a youth forum for young people aged 18 years and over on Monday 30 October from 11am to 2pm to better understand how and when young people want to be engaged and what is important to them.

“This is a great opportunity for our future leaders from all backgrounds to come together and discuss issues of importance to them,” said Director Community Janice Summerhayes.

The forum will be led by upcoming international comedian Nath Valvo who was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

It is not too late to register, limited places are available, register at www.eventbrite.com.au/e/youth-forum-wagga-wagga-city-council-tickets-38023807231/

The forum is part of an extensive consultation program with youth, which includes an online survey that is open until 10 November, workshops with local schools and workshops with local youth organisations.

At the completion of the consultation process, the key findings will be presented to Council.
