They are some of the hottest tickets in town so if you want to send your kids along to one of the extremely popular Hall-A-Day Adventure events make sure you secure your tickets fast.

This year’s program A Taste of Africa will see Australia’s leading African dance company Asanti Dance Theatre bring their raw energy, exhilarating dance moves and phenomenal acrobatics to local halls in Oura, Galore, Collingullie, Ladysmith and Uranquinty.

Wagga Wagga City Council’s Director Community Janice Summerhayes said the Hall-A-Day Adventure program gives residents in Wagga’s rural villages the opportunity to see a high-class production at a very low cost.

“If you’re in a village and always find yourself looking for things to do in the school holidays, this is the perfect boredom breaker.

“Or alternatively if your family is needing a break from the urban area of Wagga Wagga come out and join in with the villages to take up this great opportunity.

“Not only will the children be treated to a quality show, they will get the chance to take part in activities before finishing with an interactive performance.”

A Taste of Africa is the latest instalment in Wagga Wagga City Council’s Hall-A-Day Adventures outreach program, which has brought national and local performances to rural halls in the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area each year since 2013.

This year the Museum of the Riverina will also bring along its discovery and play area so that babies, toddlers, and bigger kids looking for a quiet activity can explore the Mini-Kidzone, with games, puppets, books and historical objects on hand.

There truly is something for everybody at Hall-A-Day Adventures.

Tickets are $8 each or $6 for groups of four or more and can be purchased through the Civic Theatre Booking Office, civictheatre.com.au.
