Museum upgrade plans on display
Published: 09 Aug 2019 1:08pm
Planning for the $3.18M redevelopment of the Museum of the Riverina – Botanic Gardens site is well underway, with designs and plans now on public exhibition.
The community can look forward to new exhibition spaces, an upgraded collection storage area and landscaped outdoor spaces.
Important items, such as the state-significant Cook’s Galley, will be conserved and relocated to a dedicated indoor space and made more accessible to the public.
Construction is scheduled to commence in late 2019 and the museum is due to re-open in Spring 2021 following fit-out.

Public exhibition closes on 19 August 2019.
