New Sister City signs uneveiled

New signs to celebrate Wagga Wagga’s three Sister City relationships have been installed near the Visitor Information Centre.

The signs highlight Wagga Wagga’s three Sister Cities – Kunming in China, Nördlingen in Germany and Leavenworth in the US.

Each sign lists when the relationships were established and where the Sister Cities are located – including how far they are from Wagga Wagga.

The signs were an initiative of the Sister City Community Committee, with the Miss Wagga Wagga Quest donating $2000 towards the development and installation of the new signs.
