School holiday fun at the Gallery

Dive into an exciting range of creative activities at Wagga Wagga Art Gallery these school holidays with the return of Art Camp.
The Art Camp program will see some our favourite local artists joining the Art Gallery team in leading the holiday program.
Art Camp Kids (6 - 12 years)
Book Making with artist Juanita McLauchlan
Printmaker Juanita McLauchlan will guide young ones through the process of book making, creating their own and unique mini art books. All materials supplied.
Tuesday 12 July, 10am - 11.30am, $25 per student.
Foam Printing Portraits
Discover the world of print making and create a two-tone portrait print, using foam print making.
Wednesday 13 July, 10am - 11.30am, $25 per student.
Paper Craft with artist Juanita McLauchlan
Printmaker Juanita McLauchlan will guide young ones through a range of paper craft activities, including the creation of their very own folding lotus book.
Thursday 14 July, 10am - 11.30am, $25 per student.
Art Camp Teens (12 - 16 years)
Photo Book Collage
Photograph, print and bind your own mini photo books together.
Tuesday 12 July, 1pm – 3pm, $25 per student.
Poster Art Lino Prints
Teens will explore their contemporary world and issues they feel passionate about to create their own poster prints using lino printing.
Wednesday 13 July, 1pm – 3pm, $25 per student.
Fabric Craft
Use textiles to create your own quilt design. Design, patch and sew your piece together.
Thursday 14 July, 1pm – 3pm, $25 per student.
Screen Printing with artist Christina Reid
Students will learn the art of screen printing with local artist Christina Reid, creating a two-colour printed design.
Friday 15 July, 1pm – 3pm, $25 per student.
Art Camp Family
Diorama Discovery
Design your own miniature world and discover the fun and fascinating craft of diorama making. Fun for the whole family!
Friday 15 July, 10am - 11.30am, $25 per family.
Creative Kids Vouchers accepted. The entire $100 voucher can be redeemed at the Art Gallery and be used for future workshops.
