Shift a gear moving into next month with the return of Biketober in 2024!

A national biking challenge running throughout the entirety of October, Biketober is for anyone who has ever been on a bicycle, from seasoned mountain bikers to those who haven’t pedalled in years.

Even those who have never been on a bicycle before should consider gearing up for this challenge.

Council’s Recreation Coordinator Joshua Walsh said it’s also a great opportunity for residents to take advantage of Wagga Wagga’s shared pathways and cycling tracks making up the Active Travel Plan.

“Now’s the time to clean the cobwebs off your bike and take a spin,” Mr Walsh said.

“The network of shared paths created through the Active Travel Plan provides a safe and easy way to cycle around Wagga Wagga.”
