Have Your Say on Council’s Reconciliation Action Plan renewal

Published: 24 May 2024 10:51am

Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking your thoughts and ideas to update its Reconciliation Action Plan, which will guide Council’s commitment to reconciliation in Wagga Wagga on Wiradyuri Ngurambang.

Council will be engaging with the community over the coming four weeks, starting in National Reconciliation Week, 27 May – 3 June 2024.

We will be hosting a series of barbecues and yarns across the city to seek feedback on our current Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2022 – 2024 and guide the renewal of the next plan.

There will be lots of opportunities for the community to get involved and be heard, so come along to one of our drop-in sessions or fill out our online survey by visiting haveyoursay.wagga.nsw.gov.au/reconciliation-action-plan

Hard copies of the survey are available. Please contact Council’s Aboriginal Community Development Officer on 1300 292 442 or email first.nations@wagga.nsw.gov.au

This consultation will conclude at 5pm on Monday 17 June 2024.
